A silent robot with one job: asking what you are already thinking.
Watt & Why is an animated science and technology explainer channel. Each episode takes one big question, the kind you have wondered about and never quite looked up, and answers it properly in about eight minutes.
Say the name out loud. Watt and Why. What and why. That is the whole show.
The format
One question per episode. No listicles, no top tens, no ten-minute padding for the ad break. The animation is not decoration; it exists because some things are far easier to see than to hear described.
The audience
Clear enough for a curious twelve-year-old, sharp enough for adults. That is a hard line to walk, and it is the constraint that shapes every script. If an explanation needs jargon to work, the explanation is not finished yet.
How the facts are checked
Every factual claim is checked against at least two independent sources before it reaches a script. Where scientists genuinely disagree, or where a question does not have a settled answer, the episode says so rather than picking whichever version sounds tidiest.
The schedule
New episodes every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday on YouTube.
