If your customers are in the UAE, they're probably messaging you on WhatsApp already. The real question is what happens at 11 pm on a Friday, when someone asks whether you have an appointment on Saturday morning.

For a lot of small businesses, the honest answer is: nothing, until Sunday. By then, that person has booked somewhere else.

That's the gap a WhatsApp assistant fills.

What a good assistant actually does

Forget the idea of a robot replacing your team. A well-built assistant handles the repetitive first conversation:

  • answers common questions about prices, opening hours, location, parking and what's included
  • replies in English or Arabic, depending on how the customer writes
  • collects the details you need: name, service, preferred time
  • books an appointment or passes a qualified lead to a person
  • hands over straight away when a question is sensitive or unusual

The last point matters most. The goal isn't to stop people talking to you. It's to make sure the people who reach your team are ready to buy.

Where it works best

We see the clearest results in businesses with lots of similar questions and time-sensitive decisions:

  • Clinics: availability, treatment prices, insurance questions, reminders
  • Real estate: a first round of questions (buy or rent, budget, area, timeline) before an agent calls
  • Service businesses: quotes for standard jobs, booking slots, follow-ups

It works less well when every enquiry is unique and complex, like large B2B projects. There, a fast reply from a real person beats any bot.

What it costs

There are three parts:

  1. Setup: training the assistant on your services, prices and policies, connecting it to WhatsApp Business and your website, and testing it with real questions. Ours starts at AED 7,500.
  2. Monthly care: reading conversations, fixing weak answers, updating prices and offers. Ours starts at AED 1,200 a month.
  3. Platform fees: Meta charges for certain WhatsApp message types, and the AI model has a small usage cost. Both depend on volume, so we bill them at cost and show them to you.

Prices exclude VAT. If you're not sure it's worth it yet, start with an AI audit (from AED 2,500) and we'll tell you honestly.

The mistakes we see most

Letting the bot guess. An assistant should answer only from information you've approved. If it doesn't know, it should say so and pass the chat on. It should never invent prices or promises.

No easy way out. Every conversation needs a clear "talk to a person" option. Customers get frustrated fast when they feel stuck with a machine.

Set and forget. Prices change, offers change, Ramadan hours change. Someone needs to read a sample of conversations every month and update the assistant.

Ignoring privacy. People share names, phone numbers and sometimes health details. Make sure your setup follows UAE data protection rules, and that you know where conversation data is stored.

Is it worth it for you?

Ask yourself three questions:

  • Do we get the same ten questions again and again?
  • Do we lose enquiries that arrive after hours?
  • Would our team rather spend time on serious leads than on "what are your prices?"

If you answered yes to two of them, it's worth a closer look. Book a free growth audit and we'll look at a week of your real messages and estimate how many an assistant could handle.
